Background

Born on October 11, 1957 in Chita. In 1980, he graduated from Leningrad Polytechnic Institute named after Kalinin with a degree in Thermal Physics. Honored power engineer of the RF.

1980–1996: engineer, senior engineer of thermal test laboratory, senior engineer for the unit management, auxiliary operator for turbine equipment of the turbine hall, turbine hall shift supervisor, shift supervisor of Unit 2, plant shift supervisor of the first stage of Smolensk NPP construction (Desnogorsk, Smolensk region).

1996–1998: Deputy Manager of General Directorate, Deputy Manager of Commercial Department — Head of Information and Analytical Office of Rosenergoatom Concern (Moscow).

1998–2001: First Deputy Director for Marketing, Economy and Business of Rosenergoatom Concern.

2001–2006: Acting Director, Director, Deputy Director General of Rosenergoatom Concern — Director of Rosenergoatom Concern Branch “Smolensk Nuclear Power Plant”.

2006–2008: First Deputy Director General, Acting Director General of FSUE Rosenergoatom Concern.

June 2008 — January 2010: Deputy Director General of State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom.
