The high pressure heaters belong to one of the types of the NPP basic process equipment. The contract for their manufacture and replacement was signed in 2003 after the tender, which was won by the consortium of Atomstroyexport JSC and the Hungarian company "Transelektro". The HPH manufacturers were partners of Atomstroyexport JSC – OAO "IK"ZIOMAR” and OAO “Machine-Building Factory "ZIO-Podolsk".HPH were replaced stage by stage on all four power units of Pakљ NPP: within 2005-2007 HPH were replaced on the first, third and fourth power units according to the schedule of carrying out the planned preventive repair of the power units. The last lot out of six heaters for unit No. 2 was supplied in May, 2008. Information. According to the international rating Pakљ NPP belongs to number of the most safe and reliable nuclear power plants in the world. At Pakљ NPP with technical assistance of the USSR four power units with VVER-440 reactors were constructed under the Soviet design. Their commissioning was performed in 1983, 1984, 1985, 1986 accordingly.
