The President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev has awarded Evgeny Reshetnikov, Vice-President of Atomstroyexport JSC, with the Order of Friendship. On Monday the decree was published on the Kremlin’s website

As it is put in the decree, Evgeny Reshetnikov was awarded for important contribution to design, construction and first phase start up of Tianwan NPP in China.

Evgeny Reshetnikov has participated in construction works of Units 1 and 2 of Tianwan NPP for a long time. As the plenipotentiary of Atomstroyexport’s top management Evgeny Reshetnikov supervised the works at Tianwan NPP site since 1998 till 2007, participated in Coordination and Operative Meetings, as well as in many meetings with JNPC. At Tianwan NPP site he kept track of construction, assembly and commissioning works, solved complicated production related problems, gave recommendations and guidelines on how to deal with them, supervised implementation, accomplished all technical and organizational tasks during the construction of Units 1 and 2 of Tianwan NPP.
Being the Representative of the Top-Management for Quality Evgeny Reshetnikov has made a considerate contribution to solving quality problems during commissioning works. In many cases when during technical meetings none of the parties agreed on a compromise and reached a deadlock he found the best technical and political solutions allowing to find ways to solve the problems and continue the works. Evgeny Reshetnikov’s authority, firm position, vigor and determination have considerately favored the fulfillment of Tianwan NPP first phase construction.
