Answering questions of the journalists, Leonid Reznikov told about progress of realization of the company’s contracts on construction of NPPs in India, Iran and Bulgaria. In India Atomstroyexport JSC is constructing two power units of Kudankulam NPP, the erection and commissioning works are being performed, and a contract for subsequent power units of the plant will be soon concluded. “As of today all restrictions for India are removed by the group of nuclear suppliers, – said Leonid Reznikov at the press-briefing. It opens a road to signing the initialed Intergovernmental Agreement and concrete study of the contract itself for construction of additional four units of Kudankulam NPP. In October a visit is planned to India, during which it is assumed to discuss the issues concerning development of the contract for construction of four new power units of Kudankulam NPP. About Bushehr project in Iran the President of Atomstroyexport JSC said, that the technical works, which will be performed at the NPP in the near future, will make physical start-up of the plant irreversible. Leonid Reznikov informed, that during his visit to Iran the arrangement was reached for a meeting of the Head of SC “Rosatom”, Sergey Kirienko, and the Vice-president of Iran, Gholam Reza Aghazadeh, which is planned at the end of September in Vienna at IAEA session or in Moscow. Informing on the company’s strategic plans in the international markets, Leonid Reznikov also emphasized, that Atomstroyexport JSC plans to participate actively in the invited tenders and to expand geography of orders. “The list of potential customers of Atomstroyexport JSC includes about 40 foreign countries with which negotiations are currently carried on”, – informed Leonid Reznikov. Defining the company’s strategic goals, Leonid Reznikov emphasized, that Atomstroyexport will strengthen its positions in the international and Russian markets, turning into the strongest engineering company.
