On April 16, 2008 at the conference “Russia Power” taking place in Moscow Exhibition Center on Krasnaya Presnya Atomstroyexport conducted the technical session “Equipment for nuclear generation”.

The session was lead by Vitaly Ermolaev, Deputy Manager of Marketing and Business Development Department.
Experience of Atomstroyexport JSC as one of the leading EPCM companies proves that the issues of equipment quality at NPP project implementation are of major importance. Those issues were discussed at the session, among them the issues of steam turbine design and design of steam turbine condenser. Presentations were made by Russian companies Alstom and Atomenergomash and Power Machines. A representative of the Italian company Ansaldo Nucleare SpA participated in the session and touched upon the issue of NPP reactor lifetime prolongation.
In his final presentation Vitaly Ermolaev told about NPP construction projects of Atomstroyexport, outlooks of nuclear power plant construction according to Russian technology and made global analysis of development of nuclear power industry in Russia and abroad.
Atomstroyexport is planning to conduct discussions and attract attention of specialists and experts to the equipment quality issues and responsibility of subcontractors participating in constructing NPPs.
