April 10, 2008, employees of company, who took part in implementation of the project on constructing the first stage of Tianwan NPP in China, were solemnly presented with branch rewards.

The resolution on awarding the employees was carried by Sergey Kirienko, the Head of the Federal Atomic Energy Agency.
The employees of Atomstroyexport, JSC, were awarded with the Fourth Class Badge “Academician I.V. Kurchatov” and Certificates of Merit of Federal Atomic Energy Agency. The rewards were presented by Ivan M. Kamenskikh, the Deputy Head of the Federal Atomic Energy Agency.
Not only engineers and specialists from the manufacturing plants, but representatives of the company’s bodies responsible for personnel affairs, document control, financial activity and safety control as well were rewarded.
Tianwan NPP in China is the result of professionalism of Russian atomic scientists and the evidence of Russian nuclear technology advantages. This plant belongs to the new generation of NPPs and is declared the safest nuclear power plant in the world.
