Call for articles to be included into the special edition of the magazine “Club 3D. Innovative Engineering Design” dedicated to the second international research and practical forum “Life Cycle Management of Complex Engineering Facilities. Development of Competitive Construction Technologies” is drawing to a close.The forum organized by NIAEP-ASE, a subsidiary company of the State corporation “Rosatom”, will be held on 14-15th June 2012 in Nizhny Novgorod. The key event of the forum will be a conference titled “Life Cycle Management of Complex Engineering Facilities. Development of Competitive Construction Technologies” where it will be discussed whether the customer (the State, operators and other owners of nuclear facilities) is ready to buy the PLM product and whether engineering companies are able to offer such a product. A number of seminars will be held: “Information technologies: from as-designed to as-built model”, “Cost management technologies in complex projects”, “Modern construction technologies in complex projects” and “Nuclear cluster in Nizhny Novgorod”.Russian and foreign companies from nuclear, construction and other industries, involved in developing PLM systems, from 23 countries, have been invited to take part in the forum (more detail see on www.niaep.ru).The topics covered by the special edition to be published by NIAEP tally with the main areas of the forum: creation, deployment and application of life cycle management systems for complex projects, development of competitive construction technologies, cost management technologies and tools. The proceedings from the forum as well as the publications in the magazine “Club 3D. Innovative Engineering Design” will be used in design and construction of nuclear facilities in Russia and abroad (Bangladesh, Belarus, Hungary, Vietnam, India, China, Slovakia, Turkey and Czechia).On any questions related to publication of materials in the magazine “Club 3D. The merged company JSC NIAEP – JSC Atomstroyexport (ASE) was established in March 2012 by the resolution of the State atomic energy corporation Rosatom. Thus, NIAEP has become a holding company JSC ASE.
