NIAEP intends to involve more contractors and subcontractors on its construction sites

On 19-20 th July NIAEP holds a meeting in Moscow with directors of construction and installation companies – potential subcontractors for construction projects carried out by the company.
Directors of over 30 companies from Moscow , St-Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Kaliningrad , other Russian regions and also from Belarus , Czechia , Germany and Spain have been invited to participate in the meeting.
On 19 th July the participants of the meeting will be shown ongoing and planned construction projects of NIAEP: Rostov NPP 3&4, Baltic NPP 1&2, Byelorussian NPP and Nizhny Novgorod NPP projects. These presentations will be conducted by the managers of the construction sites: Vyacheslav Makhonin, first deputy director – director of NIAEP Baltic branch, Alexander Khazin, deputy director – director of NIAEP branch in Volgodonsk, Yury Pustovoy, deputy director – director of NIAEP representative office in Belarus , and Igor Kruuz, deputy director - director of NIAEP branch in Udomlya. Managers of construction and installation companies will learn about specific features of constructing nuclear facilities, general requirements for authorization, essential terms and conditions of subcontracting and procurement principles.

On 20 th July talks and counseling will be held with regard to specific projects.

The merged company JSC NIAEP – JSC Atomstroyexport (ASE) was established in March 2012 by the resolution of the State atomic energy corporation Rosatom. Thus, NIAEP has become a holding company JSC ASE.
