During the ceremony the leaders of the students' construction teams received so called “job sheets”. For two months the students will be doing construction jobs on the site. Among the students there are both new comers and experienced students who have come to work on the site for the second and third time. The leader of the biggest team “Volgodonsk” is a five-year student Roman Bublikov who had training at the first power unit last year while this year he has become in charge of a construction team. To work on the site the students from the Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University n.a. R.E. Alekseev have mastered masonry having undergone extra training in Nizhny Novgorod . The students will both earn money (average salary will amount to RUR 10 000 – 25 000) and enjoy different sport and entertainment events.
“After 20 years the tradition of students' teams doing jobs on construction sites is being renewed, notes Dmitry Krotov, a member of the Public Chamber of the Rostov Region, chairman of the management board of the Rostov branch “Russian student teams”, - such activities help young people to acquire professional experience, to earn money and to obtain first service record so necessary to get employed these days”.
