The merged company JSC NIAEP-JSC Atomstroyexport (JSC ASE) takes part in the 5th International Forum and fair-exposition dedicated to development prospects of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam which are being held on 25-27th October 2012 in Hanoi.
The activity is held under the aegis of Industry and Trade Ministry and Energy Commission of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
Expositions of many countries interested in partnership with Vietnam regarding energy area, including those of Russia, France, the USA, South Korea and Japan are presented.
Merged under SC Rosatom brand, Russian exposition is in the centre of the exhibition hall of the Culture Palace n.a. the Soviet-Vietnamese friendship.
The Russian stand, demonstrating the lead nuclear industry enterprises, including JSC NIAP-JSC ASE, attracts representatives of national ministries and agencies, nuclear specialists, students and countries-participants of the exhibition.
Experts from different countries exchange their opinions on possible development scenarios of Vietnamese energy on seminars held within the event.
The Energy Forum is held for the 5th time in Vietnam and traditionally attracts attention of the lead world designers and equipment manufactures for NPPs and also attracts representatives of the germane business industries.

On 31st October 2010 during the visit of Dmitry Medvedev, Russian President, to Hanoi an Intergovernmental Decree between the Russian Federation and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on cooperation on Ninh thuan NPP Unit 1 construction was signed. The Ninh Thuan NPP with two units of the reactor type VVER -1000 will be constructed under the project of NPP of new generation as per Russian and international safety standards and IAEA recommendations.
The project has been implemented by the merged company JSC NIAEP- JSC ASE since 2012.

The merged company JSC NIAEP – JSC Atomstroyexport (ASE) was established in March 2012 by the resolution of the State atomic energy corporation Rosatom. Thus, NIAEP has become a holding company JSC ASE. The structure of the new consolidated company represents a network of offices in charge of construction project management, including: - a design institute in Nizhny Novgorod;- three offices in charge of NPP construction project management (in Nizhny Novgorod, Moscow and St-Petersburg);- representative offices in 10 countries of Europe and Asia where projects are being executed or planned (Bulgaria, Hungary, Vietnam, Iran, India, China, Turkey, Czechia, Slovakia and Ukraine). Today over 4000 people are working for our company; this figure amounts to over 7000 if the personnel of the subsidiaries is included. 20 projects either being under construction or design are now underway in Russia and abroad.
