The visit was held on 17, October 2012 in compliance with the cooperation agreement between JSC Concern Rosenergoatom and EDF. Presently, EDF is an incumbent energy corporation in the Western Europe. The installed capacity of 59 units of EDF is 60 GW.
In the course of the visit EDF specialists Rejean Debu, expert on industrial policy of the Nuclear Engineering Department, and Loran Amis, expert on industrial policy of the Procurement Office, took part in the meeting on organization of procurement activity in JSC NIAEP and visited the units being built.
The NPP project construction management system concerning the management structure, principles of contractors selection and control on their activity, procurement management, control on equipment manufacture and its acceptance was presented to the guests. The French specialists visited visual modeling studio and participated in the meeting of the construction management board, where weekly and daily tasks are assigned and work performance is summed up.
«We have demonstrated to our French colleagues our potential. During the visit they saw a facility under construction from its design on the screen to its implementation at the site»- said Alexander Hazin, Construction Director - Director of JSC NIAEP’s Volgodonsk branch.

The merged company JSC NIAEP – JSC Atomstroyexport (ASE) was established in March 2012 by the resolution of the State atomic energy corporation Rosatom. Thus, NIAEP has become a holding company JSC ASE.
