On 8 th , September an academic year for the students of the two universities- Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University n.a. R.E.Alekseev (NGTU) and Nizhny Novgorod State Architectural Construction University started at the JSC NIAEP's academic department, established at NGTU.
The department chaired by Valery Limarenko, Director of JSC NIAEP-JSC AES, Doctor of Economics is named as «Life Cycle Management of Complex Engineering Facilities». The first students of the department are 30 senior students – laurets of E.N.Pozdushev's «atomic» scholarship, the students whose aptitudes were awarded during the scholarship contest, as well as the students target by NIAEP. Most of them are the company future young specialists .
Within the academic year of 2012-2013 on JSC NIAEP department, the students will be lectured on the electronic document management system and unified nuclear industrial equipment catalogue, procurement and cost management system, Multi-D technologies, field engineering at the site, unified informational space etc. The curriculum includes 15 basic disciplines. On the first lecture the students were lectured on the Engineering Company JSC NIAEP development strategy and work system regarding young specialists .
«We have two months to learn a lot of interesting and useful information on the biggest engineering company. This is knowledge gained from real practice and lead specialists that cannot be obtained at the university. This summer I spent 1,5 months working in a Volgodonsk construction team at the Rostov NPP Unit 3&4 sites and have already formed an understanding of what the NPP construction is. After my graduation I would like to work in NIAEP as per my major that is «Nuclear Stations and Engineering Facilities», - said Anton Butusov, a student of NGTU.
On 14 th , June 2012 within the II International Research and Practice Forum «Life Cycle Management of Complex Engineering Projects. Development of Competitive Construction Technologies» JSC NIAEP and NGTU signed cooperation agreement and agreement establishing the basic academic department. The department's tutors are 18 top and mid level managers of the Company the
«Establishment of the basic academic department at the university means effective cooperation with one of the key and advanced enterprises in the nuclear industry, -said Sergey Dmitriev, Vice-Rector of NGTU. Integration of the company and the university allows reducing an adaptation period of young specialists to the minimal and provides quick entry into work.

The merged company JSC NIAEP – JSC Atomstroyexport (ASE) was established in March 2012 by the resolution of the State atomic energy corporation Rosatom. Thus, NIAEP has become a holding company JSC ASE.
