On 8 th August 2013 the first annual conference of nuclear builders was held, timed to coincide with celebration of the Builder's Day.
At the conference the results of development of the nuclear construction sector in the first half of the year 2013 were summarized, the long-term objectives were indicated and the companies where the construction process is organized in the best way were particularly marked.
Following the performance results the Nizhny Novgorod company Atomenergoproekt (JSC NIAEP) is awarded with the “Best nuclear engineering company 2013” diploma while the merged company JSC NIAEP – CJSC ASE is awarded with the Best subcontractor at NPP construction sites 2013 cup.
Valery Limarenko, president of JSC NIAEP, was awarded with the title of Honorary Builder of Russia. Gennady Sakharov, director of capital investments of the State Corporation Rosatom, director of the nuclear industry capital construction center, presented the awards.
On the eve of the Builder's Day the results of the 17 th All-Russia best construction company competition, organized by Ministry for regional development of the Russian Federation , the Russian Builders Union and the Trade Union of Construction and Construction materials workers, were announced.
JSC NIAEP was awarded the Grand-Prix of the 1 st class in the nomination “Elite of the construction sector in Russia ” of the year 2012. Grigory Veretelnikov, first vice-president of the Russian Builders' Union , presented Valery Limarenko, president of JSC NIAEP, with the diploma and the challenge cup.
Heads of the leading engineering and design companies of the State Corporation Rosatom and representatives of the nuclear and independent contractors implementing nuclear power construction projects participated in the conference.

The merged company JSC NIAEP – CJSC ASE was established in 2012 following the decision of the State Corporation Rosatom.
