NUKEM Technologies is glad to announce that yesterday Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant and NUKEM Technologies signed the so-called Global Settlement regarding the so-called B234 Project.
The comprehensive agreement covers project changes as well as schedule adjustments.
After the long-lasting negotiations this agreement will now provide the basis for completing the Waste Treatment and Storage Facility in the shortest possible time.
NUKEM Technologies of Alzenau, Germany, is world-wide active in the areas of management of radioactive waste and spent fuel, decommissioning of nuclear facilities, engineering and consulting. Since 2009, NUKEM Technologies belongs to ROSATOM.
