During the International Forum “Atomexpo” VI JSC NIAEP, managing body of JSC Atomstroyexport, and NP “Project management association “SOVNET” signed a strategic partnership memorandum for cooperation in the field of development of project, program and project portfolio management systems.
Valery Limarenko, President of JSC NIAEP, and Aleksey Polkovnikov, President of NP “SOVNET” signed the memorandum on 10th June, 2014.
“Integration of the project management technologies is a vital issue today in the world. And we are very happy that in the recent years our Russian company – NIAEP - has reached the front position in the project management area both in Russia and abroad. I hope that our cooperation will enable to expand the application of international project management standards, to provide effective training for the staff, to develop a comprehensive project management system that exists today in NIAEP, - said A. Polkovnikov in the course of the signing.
“Last year we completely standardized the whole project management system. For this purpose we started cooperating with the company “SOVNET”. Wedevelopedourownstandardonthebasisofthestandardswhichareoperatingintheworld. Specialists are undergoing relevant training and about two hundred people have already gone through that. First of all, they include top-managers who are responsible for separate business lines and directors of construction sites", - said V. Limarenko in the course of the signing.
At present preparation is underway for JSC NIAEP to become a corporate member of “SOVNET”. The National project management association “SOVNET” is a representative of Russia in the International project management association (IPMA).
Certification of JSC NIAEP for compliance with the international project management standards following the IPMA Delta® program is also planned. It will contribute to higher competitiveness of JSC NIAEP for participation in the international tenders and it will enhance the effectiveness of management in the complex design and construction projects not only in the nuclear area but also in other areas taking into account the diversification of the business of the company.
