Rosatom has called the world leaders in the development of digital solutions

20.06.2017
ASE Group of Companies (included in the structure of Rosatom State Corporation) within the frames of “ATOMEXPO 2017” business program has arranged a two-day track “Digital Future – the nest step in the development of nuclear technologies”.

The first part of the track was dedicated to practices of implementation of digital technologies in the industry and demands of the State in digitalization. The audience discussed the European practices and standards from the point of view of the global movement to digitalization of economy and considered the perspective developments in public administration under conditions of digital economy and requirements which should be developed and improved.

It has especially been noted that in the nuclear industry process of digitalization is closely connected with the movement of digital model of the NPP on the stages of its lifecycle. It affects all the participants involved in the process of the facility construction: both the regulator, and the customer, and the counteractor being the "engine" of this process. Therefore, it is especially important that in this process digital standards were released from top to down i.e., directly to business participants of project implementation. It will help to avoid losses in timelines and in cost of major construction projects.

During the second panel discussions, it was offered to audience to consider and discuss the best practices of implementation of digital technologies in the industry. Representatives of the leading world companies in the field of digital technologies and the knowledge-intensive productions made presentations of their developments.
The director of system engineering and information technologies of ASE Group of Companies Vyacheslav Alenkov told experts and guests about development of Multi-D Platform which operation may be tested by guests of "ATOMEKSPO 2017" using a simulator provided at the demonstration stand of ASE.

Reporting on the commercial and technological Multi-D platform created on the basis of the information model of an engineering facility, Vyacheslav Alenkov noted that this development includes more, than 30 tools which are based on data of the information system. One of the tools is a common information medium, which is accessible not only for designers and builders of the facility but also suppliers, customers and the regulating state agencies. The essential part of tools is already implemented and gives notable effect in management of terms and cost of the construction.
As the managing director of FIATECH for Europe and Central Asia Stewart Young noted, according to the roadtech map developed by FIATECH the lifecycle of major construction projects should be indestructible, it will help to make a significant progress for reduction of the construction timelines, the cost, quality of processes will be seriously increased. Today all largest global engineering companies adhere to the principles of lifecycle management, provided by FIATECH. The Multi-D platform developed in ASE Group of Companies and Rosatom State corporation makes possible to construct major construction projects according to the principles of this roadtech map, and we see real results from this activities, for example, at Rostov NPP.

The unique Multi-D system on which specialists of ASE Group of Companies worked within the last 10 years allows to manage effectively all stages of lifecycle of the NPP, and also other major construction projects. Today decisions based on this management system are replicated on all facilities in the order portfolio of ASE Group of Companies, and also are available to implementation of any types of complicated major construction projects.

"It is very important that the platform brought a value added, but not just was the IT-system. ASE Group of Companies is guided not only by the atomic industry, but also works upon the extension of data, for other industries, for an actual sector of economy in general", - Vyacheslav Alenkov summed up.

ASE Group of Companies is created within the frames of formation of engineering division of Rosatom State Corporation by joining together the leading companies of the industry: JSC ASE EC, JSC Atomstroyexport, JSC Atomenergoproekt and JSC ATOMPROYEKT.
ASE Group of Companies is one of the leaders of the world atomic engineering business, occupying 31% of the global NPP construction market. Representations, branches and operational offices are functioning in the territory of 15 countries. Nearly 80% of an order portfolio is the share of projects abroad.
It implements projects on design and construction of the NPP of a high power capacity, the nuclear research centers and research reactors. In addition, ASE implements construction projects for RAW and NFW handling and heat supply facilities, and also renders a full range of EPC, EPC (M) and PMC services for any complicated engineering objects. ASE Group of Companies is a developer and actively implements the innovation project management system for construction of complicated engineering objects that is Multi-D which allows to manage more effectively such parameters as: budget, timelines and quality.
