Within the framework of IX International Forum “ATOMEXPO 2017”, ASE Group of companies (Engineering Division of Rosatom State Corporation) and Federal State Autonomous Higher Educational Institution “National Research Nuclear University “MEPhI” signed Agreement on educational, scientific and technical cooperation.
The Agreement was signed by Mr.V.Limarenko, President of ASE Group of companies and Mr. M.Strikhanov, Rector of the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI.
The main task of the agreement – creation of the Higher engineering school for training within Digital economy. The signed Agreement will make it possible to start active interaction between JSC ASE and National Research Nuclear University “MEPhI”, the world-known higher educational institution of the Russian nuclear industry, in the sphere of education in various disciplines, use of innovative forms of training, research and training of students for practical work at enterprises of the Group of companies.
“One of the strategic goals of ASE is the creation of industrial and process digital platform for managing of the life cycle of complex engineering facilities based on Multi-D technology”. - said Mr. V.Limarenko, President of ASE Group of companies. “The experience of National Research Nuclear University “MEPhI” in fundamental and applied research and analysis of the digital technologies, development of the information models of complex engineering facilities will make it possible to improve the process of training qualified personnel and bring it to a substantially higher level”.
The Agreement includes joint elaboration of master and post-graduate educational, scientific and research programs for NPP design, construction and operation as well as decommissioning, taking into consideration the long-term development program implemented by ASE Group of companies. A separate clause of the Agreement is related to joint participation in the implementation of the road maps of the National Technology Initiative (including “TechNet” and “EnergyNet” road maps).
