The Rosatom Engineering Division Has Published the Results of the Annual Competition of Charitable Projects

The Rosatom State Corporation Engineering Division has summed up the results of the charitable projects competition that was held from April 4 to May 13. The competition is held annually in order to promote the initiatives of various organizations in addressing urgent social and cultural issues, and lay the groundwork for the sustainable development of the regions of the division's business operations.

 One hundred and sixty-three projects have participated in the competition; following the assessment of the competition commission, the support will be lent for fifty-two organizations that have submitted their projects for a total of 20 million rubles.

11 projects have been supported in the “Patriotic Initiatives” nomination, 26 projects - in the “Culture and Sports” nomination, 9 projects - in the “Younger Generation” nomination, and 6 projects have been supported in the “Environmental Protection” nomination.

The Engineering Division has been holding a competition of charitable projects for over 10 years. We have sponsored hundreds of programmes in the area of pre-primary, music and environmental education, we have pushed forward projects to help senior citizens, support sports schools, develop crafts, encourage patriotic education, and in many other areas. And all the above-said testifies to the fact that the Engineering Division is a socially oriented company that strives to improve the standards of living in the regions of its business operations,” said Nikolai Podorov, Chairman of the Competition Commission, ASE JSC Senior Vice-President for Corporate Functions.
