“What? Where? When?” was held for the first time on December 23 at El-Dabaa NPP site (general designer and general contractor - Rosatom State Corporation Engineering Division). The intellectual competition was attended by 8 teams which included representatives of ASE JSCD, Atomenergoproekt JSC, NIKIMT -Atomstroy JSC and RosSEM Trust LLC (part of Rosatom Engineering Division).

The game was held in three rounds, the players answered 10 questions in each round. The presenters were Konstantin Ruder, captain of Rosatom team of the TV version of the game and team member Evgeny Fionov.

“Absolute Zero” team (captain - Egor Ivanov, expert of geodetic department (Units 1,2) of ASE JSC Branch Office in the Arab Republic of Egypt, was the winner of the battle. The best player of the competition became Nokha Khaskhanov, captain of “Nuclear fission”, chief specialist of administrative department of ASE JSC Branch Office in the Arab Republic of Egypt.

“The teams were fighting for victory until the last thirtieth question and did not give in. Two teams were claiming first place, each of them had 20 correct answers, as far as I can remember, it happens very rarely, usually we have a leader and outsiders, and today we had no outsiders. This is the reason of vivid emotions, active supports of the spectators and a live interest which created the atmosphere of a holiday”, said Konstantin Ruder, presenter of the game.

All the participants of the tournament received commemorative prizes, the winners and the best player were awarded with crystal owls - the symbol of the intellectual club “What? Where? When?”

“We are very happy that such a fascinating game took place. The spirit of competitiveness caught both the players and the spectators. The preparedness of the participants is on a very high level in spite of their serious work load. But the main result of the competition was the possibility of the employees to demonstrate themselves in a new capacity, find their co-thinkers and new friends and support the team spirit”, said Natalya Shafalovich, Vice President for HR and Internal Communications. - We hope that the fan club of “What Where? When?” at El-Dabaa construction site will keep growing in the future, and the tournaments will become regular”.
