The expert council of Agency for Strategic Initiatives approved the promotion of “BIM-management” project implemented by Rosatom State Corporation Engineering Division.
In 2023, Agency for Strategic Initiatives will assist the project team in organizing cooperation with profile ministries of the Federal Government, regions and expert organizations, companies and state agencies for expert review and introduction of new educational technologies.
“BIM-management” international educational and practical project has been implemented from 2020. Upon the results of two stages, over 5,000 people from 40 countries were trained in up-to-date technologies of information modeling and teamwork methods and created over 1,300 digital models of buildings and facilities of Nizhny Novgorod and Ekaterinburg.
“BIM-management project is aimed at support of national initiatives for development of human resources potential and import substitution in the field of building information modeling. Based on our experience, we suggested creating a BIM development infrastructure in Russia consisting of three main components: national platform of BIM-professionals, a consortium of BIM leaders and All-Russia movement BIM-volunteers, said Alexey Agafonov, Head of the Engineering Design Industry Center of Competence. - We are grateful to the Agency for supporting our project and are confident in fruitful and efficient cooperation for the benefit of the Russian economy and strengthening of technical independence of our country”.

“BIM-management” project is being implemented by the Engineering Design Industry Center of competence, Vysotsky Consulting, Nizhny Novgorod State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering, the “Russian Student Teams” Nizhny Novgorod Regional branch of the all-Russian youth public organization with the support of the Ministry of Town-Planning and Agglomeration Development of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, on grant funds of Rosatom Engineering Division. Within the framework of the third stage that started in October 2022, it is planned to reconstruct the digital copy of the lost architectural ensemble of the 16th All-Russia Industrial and Art Exhibition held in Nizhny Novgorod in 1986.
In 2022, BIM- management project received certificate of compliance with international standard Green Project Management P5 (GPM P5) in the field of project sustainable development.
