Metrologists of Rosatom’s Engineering Division received Rosstandart’s awards

Employees of Metrological Service of Rosatom State Corporation Engineering Division have received awards from the Federal Agency on Technical Regulation and Metrology (Rosstandart).

Employees of Atomenergoproekt JSC (a part of Rosatom’s Engineering Division): Natalia Shvab, Chief Metrologist for Moscow, Elena Druzhkina, Chief Specialist, and Tamara Shemagina, Lead Engineer, were awarded with Rosstandart’s Certificates of Appreciation for a significant contribution in the development of measurement uniformity assurance and due to celebration of the International Day of Metrology.

The Metrological Service of Rosatom’s Engineering Division was set up on December 30, 2020. It is headed by Inna Zamaraeva, who is also a technical expert of RusAccreditation and a member of working group for measurement uniformity assurance under the RF Government. NPP safety depends on the quality of measurements: there are up to 40 thousand measuring instruments applied at one nuclear power plant.

The International Day of Metrology is celebrated on May 20. It was established by the International Committee on Weights and Measures in 1999.
