Representatives of the Atomstroyexport JSC digital unit (ASE is a part of the Rosatom State Corporation Engineering Division) have held a practical seminar on the “Multi-D. Digital approach to management of complex engineering facilities construction” topic for students of the MGIMO-MIPT joint MBA “Digital Economy” program. The seminar was held in ASE’s Moscow office.

Visiting the most successful digital enterprises is part of the educational process, which gives the students of the Digital Economy Program an opportunity to learn up-to-date approaches to the digitalization of the economy, business and science.

Welcoming the students of the program, Olga Tolstunova, the Engineering Division Vice President for Digitalization and Information Technologies noted that the decision speed is a crucial factor in the new realities. “A digitalization expert should make timely the right choice. You have to understand the processes in order to get out to the customer the need for a particular technology,” she said.

At the meeting, ASE experts told the guests what the digital transformation of the nuclear construction sector consists of, why it is inevitable, what in-house digital developments are used to design and build nuclear power plants, as well as to optimize the company's internal processes.

The audience were introduced to the Multi-D production and technological digital platform generated by the Engineering Division to manage the life cycle of capital construction projects using end-to-end digital technologies for design, construction, operation and decommissioning of technically complicated engineering systems. The audience were acquainted as well with an overview of flexible low-code development tools and a set of functional modules to generate digital products, as well as a product line to support end-to-end manufacturing process control.
