Over 130 employees of the Kursk NPP-2 construction site have entered into the register of bone marrow donors

Over 130 employees of Rosatom State Corporation Engineering Division, who are involved in the construction of Kursk NPP-2 facilities, have entered into the register of bone marrow donors.

The donor campaign took place at the feldsher’s health center of ASE JSC Branch Office in Kursk (a part of Rosatom State Corporation Enginering Division). The participants were employees of Atomstroyexport and branch offices of its subsidiary construction organizations.

The campaign was initiated by Denis Mironov, Chief Specialist of Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial and Fire Safety Division of ASE JSC, who has been in the register of bone marrow donors for more than three years. The event was arranged with the support of Dmitry Priymak, Director for Kursk NPP-2 Construction - Director of ASE JSC Branch Office in Kursk, while the Kursk regional blood transfusion station ensured the work of medical staff.

According to the station’s employees, such result can be considered as a record-breaking regarding one-time entry of employees of Kursk region companies into the register of bone marrow donors.

A growth has been noted in the activity of Russian volunteers and public organizations that provide a significant assistance in implementation of humanitarian actions on the federal and regional level, projects in the social and medical fields, aid to refugees. A rise in the volunteers’ movement contributes to the growth of social stability in the society and improvement of the citizens’ quality of life. Rosatom State Corporation enterprises are taking an active part in this work.
