On May 12, 2008 the Act on Unit 1 successful test completion was signed at Tianvan NPP Site. The Act was signed by authorized representatives of JSC “Atomstroyexport” and Jiangsu Nuclear Power Corpora

Guarantee tests were conducted after termination of scheduled preventive repair, accomplished in the beginning of March 2008, and confirmed guarantee parameters stipulated by General Contract on TNPP construction.
The signature of the Act has became an important achievement of JSC “Atomstroyexport” and it’s partners on the stage of final handing over of Tianvan NPP Units to Chinese customer.
All systems and equipment of the first power generating Unit operate in accordance with design parameters. From the moment of the first Unit start-up 8 713 362, 7 MW/h of electricity have been generated, 8 005 929, 7 MW/h – provided in the grid.
Scheduled preventive repair is performed on the second power-generating Unit, which started on May 1, 2008 and will continue for 70 days.

The first Tianvan NPP power Unit was handed over to the customer on June 2, 2007, the second one - on September 12, 2007. Over 150 Russian enterprises and organizations were engaged in works.
Up to date “Atomstroyexport” is the only company with a real reference project of new generation NPP. Experts consider Тianvan NPP to be the safest in the world. On November 6, 2007 Principal Agreement on cooperation in two Units construction of TNPP enlargement Project was signed in Moscow in the presence of Russian and Chinese heads of governments. The Agreement was signed by the leaders of JSC “Atomstroyexport” and JNPC.
