Among the companies claimants for the award Atomstroyexport was recognized a winner in the nomination “The best Russian EPC/EPCM company in the foreign markets”. Term EPC/EPCM means a system approach to execution of big investment projects by stages: design, supply, construction and project management. The EPC/EPCM contractor executes in full an investment project starting from the design stage up to handing-over of the completed project to a client (including fulfillment of guarantee commitments). Qualificatory criteria of selection and awarding of National EPCM Awards 2007 was a degree of company’s competence in this field and availability of project completed last year. “Atomstroyexport” became the only company in the nuclear field which was honoured with this award for achievements accomplished lately in the foreign markets. At the ceremony several EPC/EPCM companies were awarded in different nominations. Award-winning positions were distributed among recognized leaders with over 50 years of experience as well as among new companies in engineering and project management. The list of winners of National EPCM Awards 2007 were Atomstroyexport, Stroytransgas, Tekhnopromexport, Mosenergo, Russian engineering company (RUSAL OK) and Intertekhelektro.
