Atomenergoproekt JSC "Engineering Design" Industry Competence Center (belonging to the Engineering Division of the State Corporation Rosatom) has launched the "TEAM-juniors" educational project to promote occupational guidance for schoolchildren.
Senior pupils from a number of schools in the Nizhny Novgorod region take part in the training. The project is being implemented in three stages and aims to develop basic skills in information modelling in the domestic Renga software. At the first stage, participants become familiar on their own with modeling tools and design a one-story detached house using the guidance manual. The second stage involves modelling a 16-storey building with the support of teachers from the Nizhny Novgorod State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering (NNGASU). At the final stage, senior pupils will have to connect to the educational "BIM-management" project ("BIM-management" is a parent project for the "TEAM-Juniors” one) and model buildings to be included in the final model of the project.
In February, the TEAM-juniors have visited NNGASU, to get acquainted with stand-alone architectural, structural and design solutions of the All-Russia Industrial and Art Exhibition held in Nizhny Novgorod in 1896, which has became the main topic of the third stage of the BIM-management project. The training programme includes also acquaintance with other specialized Rosatom-centric universities in Nizhny Novgorod; the training course will be spreading over 4 months.
For reference: “BIM-management” project is being implemented by Atomenergoproekt JSC Engineering Design Industry Competence Center, Vysotsky Consulting, Nizhny Novgorod State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering, the “Russian Student Teams” Nizhny Novgorod Regional branch of the all-Russian youth public organization with the support of the Ministry of Town-Planning and Agglomeration Development of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, on grant funds of the Rosatom Engineering Division. As part of the third project stage that started in October 2022, it is planned to reconstruct the digital copy of the lost architectural ensemble of the 16th All-Russia Industrial and Art Exhibition held in Nizhny Novgorod in 1896.

Rosatom and its enterprises participate in starting specialized industrial chairs in Russian universities, to implement scholarship support programs and major educational projects, arrange internships and on-the-job training for students and their subsequent employment. Young specialists acquire new useful skills, which promote their career.
