“Atomstroyexport” JSC (ASE JSC) is participating in the International Forum “ATOMEXPO 2009”, which is held in Moscow from the 26th to the 28th of May 2009. The organizer of the Forum is the State Corporation “Rosatom”.
Within the framework of the Forum a specialized exhibition and a congress “Nuclear power engineering. Development through cooperation.” will be held, in the course of which the issues of international cooperation and further development of the world nuclear power engineering will be discussed.
The Forum was opened by the General Director of the State Corporation “Rosatom” Sergey Kirienko, who pointed out that “Rosatom” was ready to consider various variants of cooperation with foreign partners including those with raising own investment funds. “The first example of investment holding may become Turkey, - said Sergey Kirienko. - In the nearest time we expect the response for the tender bid on the NPP construction in Turkey, where we are ready not only to construct but also to invest”.
One more project of joint investment may become the “Baltic” NPP, where 50% plus one share will be owned by “Rosatom”, 50% minus one share – by foreign partners. The Head of “Rosatom” confirmed that the general contractor for the “Baltic” NPP construction would be “Atomstroyexport” JSC.
The delegation of “Atomstroyexport” JSC at the Forum has become the most representative one. Altogether the specialists of ASE JSC will make seven reports on the topical subjects of the world nuclear power engineering development. In particular, there will be considered the issues of Russian-Chinese and Russian-Indian cooperation, international cooperation under construction of the “Belene” NPP in Bulgaria, access of “Atomstroyexport” JSC to emerging markets and opportunities of new solutions in cooperation with foreign partners.
