Atomstroyexport JSC (ASE JSC) acted as a partner of the nuclear industry suppliers’ forum "ATOMEX-2009", held on December, 7-8th in the World Trade Centre, Moscow. Participants of the forum have discussed the pressing questions of nuclear engineering development: new branch rules for organization of tenders and procurement, increase of efficiency of use of investment means for procurement organization, engineering and management of NPP construction projects, questions of standardization, use of information technologies in nuclear industry. At the forum Atomstroyexport JSC was represented by Timur Bavlakov, Vice-president of the company.
At the plenary session “Nuclear industry: policy in the procurement area” Timur Bavlakov presented the report “Prospects of Atomstroyexport JSC in the foreign markets of NPP construction”. The report has aroused the big interest of representatives of the enterprises, which manufacture equipment for nuclear power plants. During the forum ATOMEX-2009 there was also arranged an information stand of Atomstroyexport JSC where participants of the forum could get acquainted with a schedule of open bidding for equipment supply for Leningrad NPP-2 – one of the current company’s projects.
“Atomstroyexport aspires to provide suppliers with as much as possible full information about its plans and needs in equipment and to receive a feedback, - Timur Bavlakov said. - Widening of a dialogue with the industry and constructive interaction with managers of the enterprises-suppliers of nuclear industry – the basic purpose of our participation and support of the forum ATOMEX-2009”.
