JSC “Atomstroyexport”, an enterprise of State Corporation “Rosatom”, has taken part in the IV-th International Exhibition “Nuclear Power-2010” devoted to the perspective views on development of the atomic energy industry of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. The exhibition was held in Hanoi. The Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Science and Technologies of Vietnam, Vietnamese Institute of Atomic Energy and Electric-power Corporation “EVN” became the organizers of this event. The exhibition was opened by Minister of Science and Technologies of Vietnam, Mr. Hoang Van Phong.
The expositions of the countries concerned about cooperation with Vietnam in the energy sphere were exhibited. The booth of the organizations of State Corporation “Rosatom” was the most informative one. The presentation of the Russian booth for the leadership of Vietnam was held by Deputy General Director of State Corporation “Rosatom”, Peter Shchedrovitskiy. The booth consisted of several special blocks: Construction of Nuclear Power Plants (JSC “Atomstroyexport”), Fuel for Atomic Energy Industry (JSC “TVEL”), NPP Operation (JSC “Concern Rosenergoatom”), Education and Training of Personnel for Atomic Energy Industry (SRNU MEPhI), Construction of Nuclear Research Centres (JSC “Atomstroyexport”). The model of the nuclear power plant with two WWER-1000 units and the model of Fuel Assembly have aroused particular interest of the exhibition visitors.
In the framework of the exhibition the representatives of JSC “Atomstroyexport”, JSC “TVEL”, JSC “Concern Rosenergoatom” and JSC “Gidroproject Institute” held a seminar on the normative basis of the atomic energy industry which excited great interest of the Vietnamese specialists.
