On the 7th of June within the frames of International forum “ATOMEXPO 2011” a round table conference “Infrastructure for the states adopting the path of nuclear power engineering development. Risks. Legislative security. Problems on the way of international cooperation” was held in which the representatives of JSC Atomstroyexport, the State Corporation Rosatom took part.
The purpose of the round table conference was to discuss the terms of safety and reliability assurance of the use of nuclear power engineering in the countries just entering on the development of the national nuclear power engineering program.
The management representatives and the employees of the State Corporation Rosatom, IAEA, JSC Atomstroyexport, Non-state educational establishment FVE TSIPK, the Japanese nuclear industrial forum, the Korean Agency of nuclear power engineering promotional assistance and others took part in the round table discussions.
The participants of the round table conference discussed the infrastructure requirements in the countries planning the construction of nuclear power facilities with the assistance of nuclear facility supplier. They also negotiated the responsibility of all the countries using the nuclear power, the necessity of nuclear safety assurance of the level not below the one complying with IAEA standards, availability of emergency plans connected with NPP operation, creation of particular regulations for coordination and cooperation of the state, operating organization and regulatory body in conditions of accident management and reduction of the level of its consequences and effects.
The performance of Leonid Yanko, the director of Marketing and Business Development Department of JSC ASE, was devoted to creation of nuclear power engineering infrastructure under the Russian construction of NPPs abroad. The report stressed the necessity of comprehensive approach to formation of all infrastructure elements as the basement of efficient and safe nuclear power engineering. JSC Atomstroyexport introduced the great positive experience and competence in providing assistance to the countries-NPP customers in creation of the national infrastructure of nuclear power engineering.

This is the third time International forum “ATOMEXPO” has been held in Moscow. During this period it has become one of the most important places for having discussions on development perspectives of the global power engineering.
The leading companies of domestic nuclear industry take part in the Forum – Fuel company TVEL, JSC Atomstroyexport, concern Rosenergoatom, OJSC Atomenergomash and others as well as the largest foreign companies: AREVA, Siemens, Electricite de France, Kommissariat on nuclear energy and alternative sources of France etc. The State Corporation Rosatom performs as the organizer of the Forum.
Forum “ATOMEXPO 2011” is devoted to practical application of nuclear technologies paying particular attention to development of these technologies in “new” nuclear countries. Within the Forum a specialized exhibition and congress “Power engineering development: a pause or continuation” is held.
