On 16th February, 2012, JSC NIAEP –JSC ASE arrange a seminar, dedicated to “Creation of Czech national team for procurement for Russian NPP”, in Pilsen (Czech Republic). Valery Limarenko, NIAEP director and ASE acting director, decided to hold the seminar after having taken part in the Steering Committee of the International Consortium on 3d February 2012 in Pilsen. 24 Czech enterprises and organizations, NPP equipment suppliers, have been invited to take part in the seminar held at Skoda JS a.s. JSC NIAEP –JSC ASE will present the localization technology to the participants. This technology is based on the equipment database for Russian NPPs, created by JSC NIAEP. The database is an effective tool to form a competitive pool of nuclear equipment and materials suppliers and to involve local manufacturers. “It is highly important for us that local companies take part in such large scale projects as construction of a nuclear power plant, says Valery Limarenko, but potential suppliers should understand clearly the stringent standards and requirements imposed by the nuclear industry, particularly, after the accident at the Fukushima-Dalichi NPP. The aim of such seminars is to reach mutual understanding on this question. This seminar is part of pre-bidding activities of the Russian –Czech consortium. For your reference, the International Consortium, tendering for the contract for construction Temelin NPP 3&4 in Czech Republic, was established on 14th October ,2009, and included Skoda JS a.s, JSC “Atomstroyexport” and OKB “Gidropress”.

The both companies are working on 20 projects being implemented simultaneously in Russia and abroad. The company is using advanced software products for nuclear power plant engineering. Since 2002 a 3-D model has been applied in NPP engineering. A quality management system was introduced in the company complying with the requirements of the international standards. It was successfully certified in the TUV SUD international center.
