First videoconference between management and specialists of JSC NIAEP – JSC ASE merged company and representatives of JNPC (Jiangsu Nuclear Power Corporation).

JNPC is Customer in Tianwan NPP 3&4 construction project (TNPP, People’s Republic of China). Subcontractors – JSC SPbAEP and JSC OKB Gidropress – also attended the meeting. At the videoconference the parties decided the questions, raised by JNPC during the TNPP 3&4 project meeting, held on 18 January, 2012, in Lianyungang City. - We attach high importance to such videoconferences and plan to hold them once in two weeks, - says Valery Limarenko. – I’m sure it will help maintain constant work contact and will benefit our cooperation. For your information, on 18th January, 2012, Valery Limarenko, director of JSC NIAEP and acting president of JSC ASE, met M. Xue-Jian, general director of JNPC, in Lianyungang City (People’s Republic of China) near which TNPP is located. The heads of the companies discussed Tianwan NPP 3&4 Project.

TNPP is the biggest project in economic cooperation between People’s Republic of China and Russian Federation. In accordance with the Russian – Chinese intergovernmental agreement, signed in 1992, JSC ASE was in charge of Tianwan NPP 1&2 construction project. In 2007 the first two power units of TNPP (2x1060 MW) were handed over to the Customer (JNPC), and the power plant was commissioned, the warranty period proving its safe and reliable performance. On 23rd November 2010 JSC Atomstroyexport and the Chinese companies JNPC, CNPE and CNEIC signed the general contract for construction of Tianwan NPP second phase (power units 3&4, 1060 MW per unit). In August 2011 China and Russia confirmed commencement of the contract.
