Working session of construction & erection companies was held on July, 19-20th in JSC NIAEP – ZAO ASE

Working session of the leaders of construction & erection companies (C&EC) – suspected contractors – was held by JSC NIAEP in Moscow on Junly, 19-20 th . Leaders of more than 30 companies of six Russian regions including Moscow , St.-Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Kaliningrad as well as 4 foreign states - Belarus , Czechia , Germany and Spain took place in the session.
“The portfolio of our merged company NIAEP – ASE contains currently more than 20 power-generating units”, Valery Limarenko, Director of JSC NIAEP – operating organization of JSC ASE –noted, “scope of civil work has essentially increased, during the peak periods scheduled quantity of workers at each object should attain 4500 - 5000 persons. We are interested in making contacts with new business partners in part of civil construction, activity of which is high skilled and in conformity with all requirements of the nuclear industry. Professional working experience in construction of nuclear facilities is also critical and important parameter. Principle of localization that means active involving of local population and enterprises into construction of a plant is accepted in our branch. Therefore we hope for wide participation of companies of Nizhny Novgorod and Vladimir areas in construction of the Nizhegorodskaya NPP. The mentioned companies have two years for collecting the required references, having worked on the Baltic or Rostov NPPs. We are going to involve specialists from Belarus and Vietnam in construction of nuclear facilities of the Russian design since we are planning to construct plants in these countries. And in order to obtain necessary experience, we suggest them undertake an internship and training at the Rostov NPP, units 3&4.
“Our company is ready for cooperation”, - Valery Limarenko continued, - “the aim of such sessions, the first of which was held on July, 12 th at the Baltic NPP site, is to acquaint potential contractors with facilities, branch requirements and contrac terms”.
Several facilities constructed by JSC NIAEP, such as Rostov NPP, units 3&4, Baltic NPOP, units 1&2, Belarus NPP, were represented to participants of the session. Detailed presentations with the precise key parameters and terms of construction were performed by the project managers Vyacheslav Mahonin, First Deputy Director - Director of the Baltic branch of JSC NIAEP, Alexander Hazin, Deputy Director - Director of the Volgodonsk branch of JSC NIAEP, Jury Pustovoj, Deputy Director - Director of JSC NIAEP Frepresentation in the Republic of Belarus .
C&EC leaders have been also get acquainted with specific features of nuclear facilities construction, over-all requirements, key terms of contract agreements and principles of of purchasing and deliveries.
By results of two-day session in Moscow it was decided till August, 3rd to held working meetings of the C&EC leaders and project managers of the sites under JSC NIAEP supervision (directly at the sites) for the purpose to review in details the possible issues, scope of works and to conclude the agreements on intents.

The merged company JSC NIAEP – JSC Atomstroyexport (ASE) was established in March 2012 by the resolution of the State atomic energy corporation Rosatom. Thus, NIAEP has become a holding company JSC ASE.

Today over 4000 people are working for our company; this figure amounts to over 7000 if the personnel of the subsidiaries is included.
