On July, 3rd, 2012, in Prague took place opening of the bidding documentation materials on choice of reactor technology for construction of power units 3 and 4 of Temelin NPP in Czechia, submitted by the International Consortium of Škoda JS a.s. (Czechia), Joint-Stock Company "Atomstroyexport" and JSC "OKB Gidropress” (Russia).This procedure occurred in the presence of Miroslav Fiala, Director General of company Škoda JS a.s., and also two representatives of the International Consortium: Gennady Tepkyan, Deputy Director of the United Company of JSC "NIIAEP” - JSC "Atomstroyexport", and Joseph Perlika, Director of Engineering Department of Škoda JS a.s. All boxes with the bidding materials submitted by the International Consortium were opened, the folders were checked up on conformity to inventories.In total the Czechia¬Russia Consortium submitted 28 boxes with the bidding materials (70 thousand pages) to the organizers of the tender, company Westinghouse – 15 boxes, company AREVA – 32 boxes.At 15-00 Moscow time, submission of the bidding materials to the Czech Customer was completed. The next stage is studying of the submitted bidding materials and answers to questions of the Customer. By results of the procedure of opening of the bidding documentation ČEZ officially declared that the bids submitted by the Czechia¬Russia Consortium were issued according to the bidding inquiry requirements and accepted by the Customer for their further consideration.
