On the 1st March the merged company directed to Czech companies and organizations the list of equipment (more than 4 thousand units) used in construction of NPP of Russian design. Having received this information, Czech companies have an opportunity to propose their equipment to be used in the Project. Thus, localization practice actively developed by JSC NIAEP – JSC ASE is implemented. This practice is based on the Nuclear Industry Catalogue of Equipment and Materials for Russian NPPs, developed by JSC NIAEP – an effective tool to form competitive pool of NPP equipment and materials suppliers engaging local manufacturers. Based on the data submitted by Czech companies, the list of Czech equipment suppliers with equipment assortment which then will be included into the electronic Nuclear Industry Catalogue will be compiled. Thus, Czech companies have an opportunity to be involved not only in “Temelin” Project but to supply their equipment for other NPPs being under construction or planned to be constructed all around the world. Today The State Corporation “Rosatom” implements projects on construction of 30 power units, among which 9 power units are being constructed in Russia and 21 units are under construction or planned to be constructed abroad. Procedure and conditions of products delivery for Temelin NPP 3-4 completion and also for other Russian projects of NPP construction implemented all over the world were presented to the leading Czech engineering companies at the seminar held on 16th February 2012 in Plzen (Czechia). The seminar was arranged by the representatives of Consortium “MIR.1200” (Skoda JS, JSC “Atomstroyeksport” and JSC “OKB “Gidropress”) which participates in the tender for for Temelin NPP 3-4 completion. More than 60 managers of Czech nuclear industry companies participated in the seminar. “Participation of national companies in such global projects as NPP construction is of great importance for us”, – commented Valery Limarenko, Director of JSC NIAEP and acting President of JSC “Atomstroyeksport”, – “But potential suppliers should precisely realize tough standards and requirements of the nuclear industry, especially after events happened at "Fukushima".
Consortium “MIR . 1200” - is one of three participants of the tender for Temelin NPP 3-4 completion. Company Skoda JS which has invited to cooperation Russian companies JSC “Atomstroyeksport” and JSC “OKB Gidropress” is the leader of Czech-Russian consortium. Consortium “MIR. 1200” offers the evolutionary project of nuclear power plant VVER-1200. The project is based on reference solutions proved their reliability and efficiency, and is unique owing to combination of the most advanced active and passive safety systems that make the project one of the best samples of III+ generation power units.

The company is the developer of the key power facilities in Russia. Today Nizhny Novgorod engineering company “Atomenergoproekt” is the General Contractor for construction projects: – Kalinin NPP-4, – Rostov NPP-3&4; participates in designing nuclear power plants abroad: – NPP in Kazakhstan, – Kudankulam in India, – Bushehr NPP in Iran; carries out site survey and investigation activities for: – Rostov NPP-3&4, – Novovoronezh NPP-2, – Tver NPP, – Nizhny Novgorod NPP.At the end of 2011, two competencies: JSC NIAEP and JSC Atomstroyexport were merged. The both companies are working on 20 projects being implemented simultaneously in Russia and abroad. The company is using advanced software products for nuclear power plant engineering. Since 2002 a 3-D model has been applied in NPP engineering. A quality management system was introduced in the company complying with the requirements of the international standards. It was successfully certified in the TUV SUD international center.
