JSC NIAEP – SC “Rosatom” company, the leading engineering company of nuclear industry in Russia engaging in design and construction of nuclear power plants in Russia and abroad – has finished the first step of strategic partnership with Dassault Systemes, the Developer of 3DEXPERIENCE technology, the global leader in the field of software for 3D-designing, 3D digital mock-up and product lifecycle management.
Using 3DEXPERIENCE software (CATIA, ENOVIA and DELMIA), JSC NIAEP has developed a Multi-D technology, that enables to simulate in details construction and erection processes based on a 3D information model. Due to this approach it’s possible to reduce time of construction and exchanges as well as to improve operation efficiency, quality and reliability of nuclear plants under JSC NIAEP construction.
“On the basis of Dassault Systèmes unique platform, we have developed the solution which for the first time enables to combine technological, design and building parts into the unified information model of nuclear power plant”, Valery Limarenko, Director of JSC NIAEP, Acting President of AtomStroyExport commented, “ Until recently in the world there was no informational system integrating work of designers, engineers and builders. By means of 3DEXPERIENCE platform we have created common environment for interacting and data exchange. In the nearest future CATIA-based 3D information models will allow automatic release of detail design documentation. Also information models serve as initial data for optimization of Multi-D construction “.
JSC NIAEP has become the first company developed the NPP life cycle management system. The given system includes design management, in particular, creation and upgrading of 3D models and construction management, field engineering, management of purchases and deliveries, commissioning of objects and their further operation, de-commissioning. JSC NIAEP applies a new platform for NPP creation on the basis of VVER-TOI power-generating units.

In the Residence of the Ambassador of France to Russia Mr. Jean de Gliniasty, Valery Limarenko, Director of JSC NIAEP, Acting President of AtomStroyExport commented and Bernard Charles, President and Executive director of Dassault Systиmes, have signed the Agreement on the further cooperation of the companies and work on the joint projects.

The merged company JSC NIAEP – JSC Atomstroyexport (ASE) was established in March 2012 by the resolution of the State atomic energy corporation Rosatom. Thus, NIAEP has become a holding company JSC ASE. The structure of the new consolidated company represents a network of offices in charge of construction project management, including: - a design institute in Nizhny Novgorod;- three offices in charge of NPP construction project management (in Nizhny Novgorod, Moscow and St-Petersburg);- representative offices in 10 countries of Europe and Asia where projects are being executed or planned (Bulgaria, Hungary, Vietnam, Iran, India, China, Turkey, Czechia, Slovakia and Ukraine).
