Rustam Minnikhanov, President of Tartastan Republic, visited the Nizhny Novgorod engineering company “Atomenergoproekt”

On the 22 nd of April, 2013, a delegation from the Republic of Tartastan headed by Rustam Minnikhanov, the president, paid a working visit to JCS NIAEP. The delegation included representatives of the Republic, executives of large enterprises and design companies such as JSC “Tatneft”, JSC “Kamaz”, JSC “Kazan Giproniiaviaprom” and was demonstrated the activities of the merged engineering company NIAEP-ASE.
“ Tartastan is a large region . We need strategic partners to implement big projects in thermal power and oil processing industries. We've come to see how JSC NIAEP is working – it is one of the leaders in the Russian nuclear industry actively deploying innovative technologies and showing high results both on the Russian and overseas markets”, said Rustam Minnikhanov.
During the visit Valery Limarenko, JSC NIAEP president, spoke of the structure, the main activity lines and development strategy of the company. Emphasis was laid on introduction of the complex project life cycle management technology. It is based on the unique Multi-D technology which enables to simulate construction and installation works with the use of a 3-D model before construction starts and to figure out the optimal resources needed . Its use allows to reduce the time required for construction and installation works, and, alongside with that, to increase labor efficiency, to improve works quality and safety on nuclear project sites and also to reduce the project cost.
The visitors were shown the workplaces where process and civil engineering and NPP construction simulation are carried out. And were also demonstrated the functionality of the Unified Nuclear equipment and material catalogue.
At the end of the meeting Rustam Minnikhanov expressed an interest in introduction of the NIAEP innovative technologies at large enterprises and construction projects in the Republic and suggested that the NIAEP executives should make a presentation of the capabilities of the company at one of the meeting of the Directors' Board of JSC “Tatneftecheminvest-holding” .
“We are ready to study prospective investment projects in Tartastan and to consider the possibility of our participation in them and also to offer the Multi-D technology for application in the design companies of the Republic”, concluded Valery Limarenko.
