On 14th June 2013 the 3d International Research and Practice Forum Multi-D “Complex Facility Life Cycle Management. Operation Support Tools” goes on in Moscow. The merged company NIAEP-ASE, an enterprise of the State Corporation Rosatom, is the organizer of the event.
About 600 Russian and foreign representatives of the nuclear, construction, oil and gas and other industries that develop life cycle management systems are attending the forum. They come from 19 countries of the world: Belorus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, France, Czechia, Sweden, Korea, Spain, Slovakia, Denamrk, Finland, RSA and Great Britain.
Among the companies participating in the event there are the State Corporation Rosatom, the group company Rosenergoatom, JSC Atomenergoproekt, JSC Inter RAO EES, JSC Kazakhstan-Russian company “Atomic stations”, “Liebherr-Russland”, Jiangsu Nuclear Power Corporation of China (JNPC), ALSTOM, AREVA, SKODA JS a.s., Toshiba Corporation, DASSAULT Systemes, Intergraph PP&М, Construction Corporation N 1 (Vietnam), Tecnicas Reunidas, Broad Group (China), EdF, FCG Finnish Consulting Group Ltd, IBS, Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd, Rolls Royce plc etc.
On the second day of the forum the specialists continued discussing modern developments in the complex facility operation management, engineering tools and also the solutions of data transfer between the design/construction stage and the operation stage. Representatives of the operators, engineering companies, PLM and operation support IT-tools providers participated in the discussions.
The program of the second day of the forum included a number of events acquainting with the innovative projects implemented at JSC NIAEP and other companies of the State Corporation Rosatom, in particular, a two-day seminar “Information technologies: from design to operation”.
“The operation stage is the longest cycle. It is minimum 60 years for a nuclear plant while designing and construction take about 5-10 years, says Vyacheslav Alenkov, deputy director of NIAEP Moscow branch, chief architect of the uniform information model. – All that is created during these 10 years should be maintained during operation and de-commissioning. It’s the most important task. As for the actual implementation just yesterday we took a big delegation of managers of various Russian and foreign engineering companies to our Rostov construction site and showed them how these technologies are used on-site. For example, one can come to the foundation pit or a building under construction and use the information kiosk obtaining access to their 3D model. All this takes place within the construction area”.
One of the key events of the second day of the Forum is a panel discussion “Engineering data handover between designing/construction and operation stages.
According to Mikhail Belov, general director of IBS, moderator of the workshop, for the first time in Russia a panel session took place that united world leaders of the area.
Managers and representatives of Dassault Systemes, Integraph, AVEVA, Bentley System, IBM, NEOLANT, Fiatech and TechInvestLab attended the workshop.
