The project of Nizhny Novgorod engineering company Atomenergoproekt (JSC NIAEP) “Unified information space” has won the contest “Region innovation -2012” in the nomination “Innovation in the nuclear area” and was awarded a laureate diploma. The awarding ceremony convened on March 19, 2013, awards were given in 10 nominations.
The contest “Region Innovation” is held four times running. In 2012, 27 leading regional companies participated in it. The jury chaired by Valery Shantsev, Governor of Nizhny Novgorod region, judged the projects by four criteria: economic impact from innovation adoption, innovation scale, innovation importance to consumers and adoption milestone.
JSC NIAEP presented to the jury its project “Unified information space” based on Multi-D technology. Already now the project is being implemented on the Rostov NPP site: work of constructors, designers, equipment and materials procurers are organized in the unified information space. In a visual modelling studio a Multi-D model based on a 3D image is created and on its basis personnel of the construction and assembly organizations trains.
“Application of this technology cuts terms of CAW works and at the same time increases labour productivity, works quality, safety on nuclear energy facilities and also lowers project cost, - marked out Ivan Uvarov, Head of information project management department receiving the award.
The contest “Region innovation” is annually held in Nizhny Novgorod region and aims at innovation component increase in the region economy, at potential investors drawing and drawing of customers for the projects implemented on Nizhny Novgorod enterprisers. The Project organizer is LLC Innovatika, the organizing partners –Government of Nizhny Novgorod region and Centre of Entrepreneurship. The project sponsor is consulting company InCoSol.
JSC NIAEP won the contest “Region innovation” in 2010 and 2011 years.

The merged company JSC NIAEP – JSC Atomstroyexport (ASE) was established in March 2012 by the resolution of the State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom. Thus, NIAEP has become managing company of JSC ASE.
