JSC NIAEP: Preparations for the III International Research and Practical Multi-D Forum «Life Cycle Management of Complex Engineering Facilities. Tools for Operation Support » .
On 13-14, June, Moscow is welcoming the III International Research and Practice Multi-D Forum «Life cycle management of complex engineering facilities. Tools for operation support».
The Forum convener is the merged company JSC NIAEP - JSC ASE , an enterprise of the State Corporation Rosatom .
This is a consistent continuation of the two previous forums held in 2011 and 2012 in Nizhny Novgorod to elaborate upon the idea of complex engineering facilities life cycle management (LCM) - from a future NPP design up to its decommissioning. In 2011, the meeting was devoted to creation of common information space for design, in 2012 - to creation of common information space for construction, and the subject of the 2013 forum is creation of common information space for operation of complex engineering facilities.
A number of Russian and foreign companies of nuclear , construction , oil and gas and other industries that develop the LCM systems from different countries are invited to participate in the Forum.
Currently , the participants from over 20 countries admitted their participation. They are from Russia , Belorussia , Ukraine , Kazakhstan , France , the Czech Republic , Sweden , Germany , India , China , Vietnam , Japan , the USA , Switzerland , Korea , Spain , Slovakia , Denmark , Finland , SAR and from Great Britain .
Among the company-participants are SC Rosatom, JSC Concern Rosenergoatom, JSC Atomenergoproekt, JSC OKB Afrikantov, FGUP RFYATS VNIIEF, FGUP NIIIS n.a. Yu.E.Sedakov, JSC VNIIAES, JSC Inter RAO EES, SC Kazakhstansko-Rossiiskaya kompaniya Atomnye stantsii, Liebherr-Rusland, Jiangsu nuclear energy corporation of China (JNPC) ,ALSTOM, AREVA, SKODA JS a.s., Toshiba Corporation, DASSAULT Systemes, Intergraph PP& М , Construction Corporation №1 ( Vietnam ), Tecnicas Reunidas, Broad Group ( China ), EDF, FCG Finnish Consulting Group Ltd, IBS, Jiangsu Nuclear Power Corporation, Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd, Rolls Royce P lc. and others .
Experts will discuss current trends in operation of complex engineering facility, tools for engineering to provide effective management, and also solutions on transfer of engineering data between the stages of design/construction and operation .The panel sessions will be joint by representatives of operating organizations, engineering companies, and also by vendors of IT solutions in the area of PLM and operation.
Within the Forum a number of workshops will be held: «Project VVER-TOI. Technical and economic features. Safety concept», «The experience in cost management at nuclear power projects construction. Overseas construction. Plans for further development» , «The portal of construction management», «The standard of modern NPP design NPP construction technology», «The experience of the Rosatom's Production System implementation at nuclear power projects construction. Attained results. Plans for further development», «The experience in nuclear power projects construction terms management» etc.
During one of the workshops the participants will be acquainted with the experience of Broad Group Corporation in constructing a 30-stored hotel in 15 days.
Besides , within the Forum the 7 th International «Nuclear Equipment and Systems Fair» will be held to welcome enterprise-suppliers of equipment and materials for nuclear units under construction in Russia and abroad. The following workshops will be initiated for the fair participants to contribute to: «Prerequisites for selection of suppliers», «Two-stage tendering and contracting» and some others.
The day before the Forum opening, on June 12, the top-management of JSC NIAEP will provide the foreign delegations with a unique opportunity to visit the Rostov NPP Unit 3&4 site, where they may see how the uniform information system works at facilities under construction.

In June 2012, Nizhny Novgorod hosted the II International Research and Practice Forum «Life cycle management of complex engineering facilities. Development of competitive construction technologies». The Forum was attended by representatives of 200 companies from Russia , Belarus , the Czech Republic , France , Sweden , Germany , Ukraine , India , China , Vietnam , Japan , the USA , Switzerland , Korea , Spain , Slovakia , Denmark , and Finland .
The first Multi-D Forum «Intellectual design. Life cycle management of complex engineering facilities» was held by NIAEP in 2011.
