In a framework of the 6-th International ATOMEXPO-2014 forum a Memorandum of Understanding focused on cooperation in the area of system engineering and design and construction management technologies was signed between the NIAEP – ASE United Company and IBM East Europe/Asia Ltd. As explained by Mr. V.I.Limarenko, Director of JSC NIAEP, cooperation of the companies is aimed to support innovative development of NIAEP – ASE United Company and to use more effectively informational resources, to optimize business-processes and to increase competitiveness of the Russian company in the global market.
JSC NIAEP and IBM have been already in work on development of the requirements management system for design and construction of such complex objects as nuclear power plants. Besides, the companies are planning to come jointly up with solutions directed on implementation of strategy of NIAEP – ASE United Company diversification.
“IBM is not just the world's largest company in the field of the informational technologies and the leader in the business management software market. The past 40 years IBM has been closely working in Russia and for these decades it has generated the optimum scheme of services and products proposal in view of the Russian specificity, including MULTI-D technology developed by the specialists of JSC NIAEP", Valery Limarenko has noted.
The document was signed by Mr. V.I.Limarenko, Director of JSC NIAEP - managing company of JSC ASE, and Mr. K.G.Korniliev, Director General of IBM Eastern Europe/Asia, in the presence of S.V.Kirienko, Director General of ROSATOM, and Martin Tarr, Vice President, IBM Europe.
