Bushehr NPP is a unique facility having no analogues globally. Atomstroyexport and its contractors managed to integrate Russian equipment in the civil engineering design implemented according to the German design and, in addition, to apply about 12 thousand tons of German equipment.
The designers had to come up with, develop and apply a whole range of unique technical ideas and knowhows in order to adapt Russian technologies to the overseas equipment existing at site. One-off design, process and arrangement solutions, a complex of unprecedented works performed at site make the project of Bushehr NPP construction unique on a global scale.
