In the frame of ATOMEXPO 2017 International Forum, JSC ASE Engineering Company and Association of Organizations for Development of Information Modeling Technologies in Civil Engineering and Housing and Communal Services (BIM-Association) signed the Cooperation Memorandum.
The Agreement covers cooperation in the use of information modeling in designing and construction businesses. The signed document envisages cooperation in creation of in-industry and national standards and methodical recommendations with regard to information modeling, practical use of technologies in this sphere, gaining experience in the use of specialized software, betterment of organizational and functional structures of the construction designs through the use of information modeling technologies, training and popularization of information modeling in the civil engineering field.
The parties agreed to form cooperation projects for solutions of problems within the framework of the Memorandum.
The President of BIM-Association Alexandra Nikultseva asserted that without careful study of experience gained by the leaders of industry, energy production and transportation, which are using the information modeling technologies throughout life cycles of construction, it is impossible to create comprehensive base of knowledge and practices, and develop comprehensive rationing. "In this aspect ASE have very valuable experience, and BIM Association will cooperate with national authorities, including legislative authorities, and also with other concerned agencies, to ensure conditions of comprehensive use of this experience".
According to the President of ASE Group of Companies Valery Limarenko, the digital platform becomes the base of any business in the up-to-date economy. "The information technologies, which we are implementing today, are not only contribution into enhancement of management efficiency; it is absolutely required for keeping leadership of the Russian Nuclear Industry. That is why we are certainly interested in further development and further promotion of our own information modeling know-hows into Russian and foreign markets, and we hope to receive help and support from BIM-Association in this direction

Association of Organizations for Development of Information Modeling Technologies in Civil Engineering and Housing and Communal Services (BIM-Association) is the non-commercial organization; it is the union of construction industry professionals; they are construction companies, design companies, research institutes, software producers, educational institutions involved in introduction of the information modeling technologies (BIM-technologies) in Russia. On 11 April 2017 the Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation approved the Plan for Cost-Effectiveness Analyses to be applied in justification of investments and information modeling technologies throughout life cycles of permanent construction projects. According to the Plan, BIM-Association is nominated to execute some its provisions.
