Kursk NPP-2 design of ASE Engineering Company is recognized as the winner in the nomination «Technologies of information modeling in designing of real estate objects. Industrial and civil construction» of the I-st all-Russian competition «BIM Technologies 2016». The purpose of the competition is revealing of the best practices in the sphere of use of information modeling technologies (Building Information Modeling) which today are actively being introduced in modern designing and construction. The competition was participated by 120 Russian companies, 24 among them were included in the short-list. The competition designs were assessed in 4 nominations related to application of the information modeling technologies in designing, construction, during operation of real estate objects, as well as in management of investment and construction projects. ASE Engineering Company has become the winner in the nomination related to introduction of BIM technologies during designing of complex engineering objects. Namely this design was represented at the competition. At the present time the complex technology for management of Kursk-2 NPP design on the basis of BIM designing unites all stages of creation of the complex engineering object into the unified information model. Such solution allows to manage the data on designing, procurement and supplies, construction, cost, etc. This ensures decrease in the expenditures, reduction of time periods and the cost, as well as ensures strict control at all stages of the life cycle, thus leading to strengthening of leader positions of Russian export proposal on NPP construction in the world market», - Vyacheslav Alenkov pointed out.
