Within the framework of X International Forum ATOMEXPO-2018 ASE Group of Companies (Rosatom State Corporation Engineering Division), National Research Nuclear University “MEPhI” (NRNU MEPhI) and Nizhny Novgorod State Engineering University named after R. E. Alekseev (NNSEU) have signed an Agreement on educational, scientific and technical cooperation.
The Agreement was signed by Mr.Valery Limarenko, President of JSC ASE Group of Companies, Mrs. Tatiana Leonova, Pro-Chancellor of the NRNU MEPhI and Mr. Sergey Dmitriev, Chancellor of NNSEU.
The Agreement substantially expands the boundaries of cooperation between ASE Group of Companies that implements the largest long-term program in the world NPP construction in Russia and abroad, and two major supporting universities of Rosatom State Corporation.
"The signed Agreement is providing the basis for development of the industrial and inter-university cooperation site with technology partners for the purpose to upgrade training of engineers for all the life cycle stages of high technology complex facilities, including their design, construction, operation using digital technologies. Young engineers will have an opportunity to receive training that supposes solution of realistic problems of the industrial partner applying advanced technologies of companies - technology leaders", - Tatiana Leonova emphasized.
As the NNSEU Chancellor said, this Agreement is opening a new stage of the long-term and fruitful cooperation with JSC ASE Group of Companies. «NNSEU has proceeded to implementation of a new strategic project – «Lean University» that is based on the experience of State Corporation Rosatom. The regional center of competences in the field of lean production will be created in the university, as well as the industrial and partner space based on the principles of the Rosatom manufacturing system, for involvement of the enterprises in the Nizhny Novgorod region for participation in execution of Rosatom orders, - Sergey Dmitriev pointed out. - I am sure that the Agreement with JSC ASE Group of Companies will be a strong driver for implementation of these plans and acceleration of the region economy digitalization process».“One of the main strategic objectives of JSC ASE Group of Companies is digitalization of the activities and development of the industrial and technology digital platform for capital construction facilities life cycle management, using end-to-end digital technologies,- Mr. Valery Limarenko emphasized. -We will speed up the process of transfer to the digital intellectual industrial technologies together with NRNU MEPhI and NNSEU that have an experience in implementation of fundamental and application research in the field of digital technologies, and train high potential employees taking into consideration changing requirements for engineering professions”.
The Agreement provides for the joint work of the universities and Rosatom engineering division on training and retraining of the personnel for work in a multicultural environment, development of joint target-oriented educational and research programs related to the NPPs design, construction and operation based on the digital technologies, participation in development of IT cluster of Nizhny Novgorod region and other areas of cooperation.
