Round-table discussion “Globalization as a success condition: NPP construction within the framework of a partnership” will be held on 14 May at ATOMEXPO-18. The round-table will be organized by ASE Group of Companies (Engineering Division of Rosatom State Corporation).
The role of the moderator will be performed by Alexey Hkokhlov, head of “Electric power industry” sector of the Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO. The discussions will be attended by representatives of large construction and engineering companies that have experience in implementation of complex engineering projects, including NPPs, representatives of regulatory authorities of the countries where Rosatom is implementing its projects. The invited speakers will include Alexander Khazin - senior vice-presidents for management of overseas projects of JSC ASE EC, Reinhard Wagner - Chairman of the Council of Delegates of International Project Management Association, Jean-Denis Arnal - executive director of Bouygues Construction (France), Stefan Halopen - director for nuclear project management of Bureau Veritas Europe, Noel Camarca - special R&D advisor in the fiend of nuclear power engineering and international cooperation of EDF (France).
The round-table discussions will touch upon the establishment of various partnership relations during the construction of NPPs, joint responsibility and distribution of risks during a project implementation, localization of suppliers and contractors, competence of the customer and its strategic partners for successful implementation of mega-projects.
Round-table discussion “Globalization as a success condition: NPP construction within the framework of a partnership” will take place on 14 May from 10:00 to 12:00 in the Grey Hall of the Main Media Center.
