Interactive show “AtomMove” has finished in the Republic of Belarus.

On Saturday, June 29, more than 3 500 thousand persons visited interactive show “AtomMove” that was held in the Central Children Park n.a. M. Gorky in Minsk for the first time. Scientific interactive show program “AtomMove” has been organized by the Atomic Energy Information Center (AEIC) in Minsk with support of Rosatom State Corporation Engineering Division, Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Belarus and with assistance of the Administration of Partizansky district in Minsk city.

“Nuclear power is a new branch for Belarus, and from this point of view ‘AtomMove’ is a cognitive site, which familiarizes you with the laws of physics and with principles of nuclear power plant operation, — Deputy Director of Nuclear Energy Department of the Ministry of Energy of Belarus Liliya Dulinets noted- The educational purpose combined with the play form has attached individuality to this event and made ‘AtomMove’ as an impressive event” .

Not only the residents of Minsk but also the guests of the II European Games have visited 15 activities, which were included in the show program, and it made “AtomMove” the international center for communication. The activities of the show were arranged in the format of the sports and scientific and entertainment programs, so they were interesting for everybody: both for kids and grown-ups. Each visitor of “AtomMove” could feel himself not only as a sportsman of the international games but refresh the laws of physics in his memory. “We were pleased to present interactive show ‘AtomMove’ to the residents and to the guests of the Republic of Belarus, and we are glad that it has aroused such a great interest among the visitors, — Head of the AEIC Tatiana Shlyk noted speaking about the past event. — We have done all in our power so as the content and format of the show programs would have been interesting for any age, and as judged by the atmosphere that we could see at the show sites, and by the number of the visitors, we have managed it”.

ASE (Rosatom State Corporation Engineering Division) is the General Designer and General Contractor of Belarus NPP construction. The site is located in Ostrovets town. Belarus NPP Unit 1 has reached the final construction stage. Commissioning of Belarus NPP will allow to diversify the structure of the fuel and energy balance and replace up to 5 billion m3 of natural gas,

Atomic Energy Information Center (AEIC) in Minsk city is a multi-functional communication space with educational interactive exhibits as well as with a panoramic movie theater and a number of multimedia applications for schoolchildren related to nuclear technologies, physics and astronomy.
