Engineering Division public reporting has won “Change Management. Visionaries” award

The reporting materials of Rosatom Engineering Division that are part of the State Corporation Annual Report for 2019, have received “Change Management. Visionaries” award in nomination for non-financial reporting “Best Disclosure of Information on Corporate Governance”.

The official awarding ceremony was held on 22 October, the award was handed by Anton Kulbachevsky, Head of Moscow Department for Environmental Management and Protection.

“Change Management. Visionaries” was for the first time awarded in 2018, its aim is encouragement of responsible contribution of business, social entrepreneurs and non-commercial organization to sustainable development of economy, society and environment in Russia. The award was organized by +1 Communication Platform, analytical partner – EmCo consulting company. The jury includes representatives of business-leaders, non-commercial organizations, experts in sustainable development and mass media.

This year a record number of projects applied for the award – 115 cases of commercial and non-commercial organizations and 35 non-financial reports of commercial companies. The award was handed in 10 nominations. Among the winners, along with the Engineering Division, were PAO NOVATEK, PAO Severstal, MTS, PJSC Rostelecom, PJSC ROSSETI, EVRAS and others.

Rosatom modified public reporting system has been in place from 2009. It ensures the development of public reports of State Corporation and its companies in an integrated format, taking into account Russian and international standards and best practices in this field. The common goal of public reporting in the industry is improving the transparency, enhancing the image, business reputation and competitiveness, informational support for promotion of products and services in RF and abroad.

From 2019, a unified public report of the Russian nuclear industry is developed including both the report of the head organization and reporting materials of the key divisions. This step was taken within the framework of transfer of Rosatom organizations to a single brand, in order to ensure the uniformity of information and its disclosure, especially in the field of sustainable development.
