Submission period for applications for ASE International Photo Awards 2020 is over

The submission period for applications for ASE International Photo Awards 2020 organized by Rosatom State Corporation within the framework of celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Russian nuclear industry, closed on 17 September.

354 photographers from the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, India, Egypt, Hungary, Finland, Turkey, Belarus, Uzbekistan and Russia participated in the event. From 17 July to 17 September, over one thousand works in the nominations “Atom Is Near”, “My Country”, “Freeze Frame”, “Dialogue With Nature” “We Are What We Eat”, were submitted.

“The aim of our photo competition is to familiarize the public with the beauty and uniqueness of the countries where Rosatom State Corporation Engineering Division is constructing nuclear power plants and to open new names of talented artists. We are pleased that ASE International Photo Awards that has become an annual event has aroused strong interest this year. Our photo exhibition helps to overcome the distances and restrictions in travel caused by the global pandemic, to make a virtual trip to the remote places of our planet that are inaccessible for many of us”, said Nina Dementsova, Head of Communications Division of ASE EC JSC.

The results of ASE International Photo Awards 2020 will be posted on the official page of the competition by 1 October 2020.
