The Rosatom Engineering Division Has Mustered Up Teams to Participate in Professional Excellence Championships

Teams have been mustered up in the Rosatom State Corporation Engineering Division to participate in professional excellence championships. The two teams have included 12 designers from the Atomenergoproekt JSC Joint Design Institute (as part of the Engineering Division), showing the best results in the “Engineering Design” training course.

From March to June of this year, the subject-oriented training was completed by 298 employees of the Joint Design Institute coming from Moscow, St. Petersburg and Nizhny Novgorod, that are involved in the design of nuclear power facilities; the training was received by students of the Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University named after R.E. Alekseev and the Nizhny Novgorod State University of Architecture and-Civil Engineering, too.

The training course developed by experts from the Atomenergoproekt JSC Engineering Design Industry Center of Competence, has used both the best practices and proprietary technologies, in order to provide training for the experts that are going to participate in the AtomSkills, WorldSkills Hi-Tech and World Civil Engineering Championships.

“Currently, the teams are getting prepared for the AtomSkills-2022 professional excellence championship, which starts at the end of July in Yekaterinburg,” said Alexei Agafonov, Director for Support and Development of Design Production, Head of the Engineering Design Industry Center of Competence. “The training programme provides for accomplishing the tasks in all disciplines of the upcoming competitions dedicated to the design”, he went on to say.
